Cinnamon Dough Ornaments Recipe!

I made these when I think I was in 2nd grade and I still have it. It still smells like cinnamon! So last year I made a bunch in various Christmas shapes and this year I want to give them to people who don't already have one! This year I am going to make initalis, for example if your name is Erin you would get an E! Ya ya! It is a great craft to do alone, with friends, your kids or if you are a teacher, with your class. So have a merry time with it.

Cinnamon Dough Ingriedients:
1 cup ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons white glue (the liquid kind)
3/4 to 1 cup water (this will very so play it by ear and check the consistancy)

Other odds and ends needed:
Wax paper
A rolling pin
One straw or however many depending on how many people are making these cuties!
Several different cookie cutters of your choice. I got my letter ones from Sur La Table.
A baking sheet to lay them on to dry.
Cute ribbon

Things you can add to it:
Craft glitter or rhinestones!

Directions:
Step 1: Mix cinnamon and glue, gradually add water. (This is where you can start to check the doughs consistancy)
Step 2: Stir until a ball forms
Step 3: Lay wax paper on surface and roll dough out with a rolling pin until it is 1/4 inch thick.
Step 4: Go crazy with your cookie cutters until you have nearly no dough left! Discard leftovers.
Step 5: Lay dough on a cookie sheet, wax paper or paper towl to dry for 1 to 2 days
Step 6: Once you lay them where the are to dry, take the straw and gentley press the straw into  the top of the ornament to make a hole. This is where your ribbon will go through once your dough is dry.
Step 7: Flip your ornaments over after day one so it can evenly dry on both sides and viola! A yummy smelling ornament that friends and family will love!
